MOON LANDER TIPS OVER

  • Mar 7, 2025

People seem to forget that the Moon's gravity is six times weaker than Earth's. Anything tested on Earth will perform very differently on the Moon. An object landing on the Moon will bounce several times and most likely tip over. The surface is unlikely to be perfectly flat, and the lander is not equally balanced. Moreover, the fuel and other items inside may have shifted. All those factors introduce significant uncertainties during landing.
