We are already accustomed to breathtaking revelations from Google's quantum computing team. This is yet another one. Pay attention to the error rate of a single qubit of 0.035%. That error in an existing binary computer is something closer to 0.00000000001%. Can you spot the difference? There is absolutely nothing meaningful that the quoted quantum computer can do. May I suggest renaming it to Willy?
Meet Willow, our state-of-the-art quantum chip - from Google's blog.
